To apply for the AFCAT 1 2025 exam, candidates must meet the IAF-specified AFCAT eligibility criteria , which include nationality, age, education, and physical standards. The details are outlined below:

Education: Candidates must have passed Class 12 and post-graduation with at least 50% in any discipline, including integrated courses offering a PG degree (single degree without permission to exit and lateral entry), and have scored at least 60% in graduation in any discipline.
Meteorology: Candidates must have passed Class 12 and have a BSc in Physics and Mathematics with at least 60%, or a four-year graduation in Engineering/Technology with at least 60% in a plethora of streams.

What is considered a good score in the AFCAT exam?To pass the AFCAT exam, aiming for a score between 140 and 160 out of 300 is recommended. In 2022, the AFCAT cutoff was 157, and the EKT cutoff was 18. Candidates need to meet or exceed these cutoff marks to qualify.
